a few days ago i went to lake gardens through southern avenue.it was the 1st time that i had stepped out of my home after the storm aila had grazed our city.i could not belive what i saw.there must have 10-15 large trees uprooted on that small stretch and the whole area around the lake was looking devastated.i could not imagine what might have become of the whole city after that fateful day.i was really sad to see that the trees which take so many years to bloom into a full grown tree were lying lifeless in such a manner.nature helps living creatures to sustain but owns its fury too.politicians are talking about rehabilitation of people affected by aila and are using the situation to thier own advantage.but nobody seems to care about these 2000 trees that been rendered soil-less and lifeless.nobody has come forward with a proposal to replenish these greens or a plan to plant at least as many trees as uprooted.can we imagine what might have become of our city had aila entered it and not just bypassed it?
